Biographical

Wally McDonough has been the President and Manager of ELK Consulting Services, LLC in Boston, MA since 2006. Before starting ELK, he held the following positions: Executive Vice President and General Counsel 1996-2007 at Suffolk Construction Company, Inc. in Boston, MA; Assistant General Counsel 1993-1996 at Perini Corporation in Framingham, MA; Associate from 1990-1993 at Hinckley, Allen & Snyder in Boston MA; Litigation Department Trial Attorney 1987-1990 at Fine & Ambrogne in Boston, MA. Mr. McDonough's in-house positions combined substantial legal experience with the benefit of acting as a senior executive in two large corporations. 

Wally McDonough has successfully mediated over 450 cases in the following areas:

Construction contracts; Construction defects; Surety matters; Insurance Subrogation; Personal injury; Closely held corporation disputes; Real estate valuation disputes; Business to business disputes; Commercial landlord/tenant disputes; Professional malpractice claims; Employment and labor disputes (harassment, discrimination, wage/hour cases); Labor disputes over jurisdictional matters. 

Mr. McDonough uses more than ten years experience as a senior executive and general counsel to drill down into the details of disputes and provide realistic assessments of mediation parties' positions and potential options for settlement.

Rates Information

$470 per hour plus expenses at cost, split equally among the parties.
