Biographical

Joel Reck is a retired partner from Brown Rudnick LLP and is the former Chair of its Real Estate Department.  His practice consisted of structuring, managing and closing sophisticated commercial real estate transactions throughout the United States. For many years, Joel has conducted a varied mediation and arbitration practice, principally involving real estate and other commercial disputes.  The real estate disputes have included a broad range of  issues, including contracts and leases, zoning and land use, project development, environmental, construction, financing, partner disagreements, condominiums, and title.  Commercial disputes have included disagreements among co-owners and heirs, succession planning, employment issues, and contracts.  In addition, he has mediated a variety of other types of disputes, including personal injury and professional malpractice issues. He has also served as an expert witness in cases involving transactional practice standards and real estate legal issues.
